Client Terms, Conditions, and Privacy Policy |
1. This agreement is between TranslationHelp.com (hereinafter referred to as "TH") and all clients and users of the TH Web site.
2. TH does its best to provide easy access to translators and does not interfere
with, or take part in negotiations between translators and clients.
3. TH acts as a facilitator to enable communication between clients looking
for translators and translators looking for translation work. If, at any
time, you have trouble with the site functions or with a specific project
or translator, please contact
us immediately.
4. TH makes every effort to screen, test and verify the qualifications of
all translators who register on the Web site: references are checked, qualifications
and education are verified, only those showing the highest skill levels
on the TH translation test are accepted, and, finally, a sample translation
from the translator's source language to the translator's target language
is required and checked by an independent translator before any newly registered
translator is allowed to accept any projects from clients.
5. Clients are completely responsible for their choice of translator and
the management of their translation project. Remember, a low estimate does
not necessarily mean a good deal. Beware of the lowest bidder since it invariably
means an inexperienced translator.
6. Although we have implemented systems and checks to ensure the highest
quality and on-time delivery for every project, it is the individual translator's
responsibility for the final quality and on time delivery of the translations
procured through the TH Web site.
7. Clients and translators of TH are responsible for protecting their user
name and password to access their accounts.
8. As a client looking for a translator you agree to send the chosen translator(s)
your documents and any information necessary to proceed with the translation.
The information provided by translators and clients will be used in the
normal course of the Web site functions by clients searching for translators
to translate their documents and by translators rendering their services
to clients.
9. TH has a strict privacy policy and personal information submitted by
either clients or translators will not be disclosed to any unauthorized
3rd party.
10. Information about translators, clients, projects and documents must
be kept strictly confidential at all times.
11. Clients and translators should provide truthful information.
12. To achieve the best results, as much detailed information as possible
should be provided for each new project.
13. Please report any violation of the above rules by contacting
us immediately.
14. Violations may result in termination of the offender's account and possible
prosecution under any and all applicable laws.
15. Registration at TH is free. There are optional subscription features
for which a monthly fee is charged. TH reserves the right to add additional
subscription features and to change the free registration policy at any
time without prior notice.
16. Payment from clients can be made through PayPal, by credit card, direct
deposit, check, money order, Western Union or any other prearranged payment
method.
17. TH reserves the right to revoke a client's or a translator's membership
and remove the client's or translator's information permanently for any
reason, without warning or notification.
18. TH respects the privacy of our clients and translators and promises
to protect all personal information.
19. TH will not sell, trade or give away translators' or clients' personal
information without the express written consent of the individual concerned.
